I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my Masters of Social Services (MSS) from The Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College (2019). I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University, SUNY (2012). I am trained and have been certified as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (2021), and as a Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapist (2024). Prior to receiving my masters degree, I trained and became certified as a Sports/Hatha Yoga Teacher/RYTT 200hr (2014), and in Reiki levels 1 and 2 (2012). In 2012 I trained and certified as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and worked as a Wilderness Therapy Field Instructor doing recreational therapy (2013-2015). In undergraduate school I worked as a teachers assistant using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with ASD, as well as a Research Assistant in a Cognition lab researching linguistics via computational modeling. I am a lover of mountain and water sports, and in 2014 I backpacked the entire length of the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico-Canada (2,668 miles) over the span of 5 and a half months.
I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and change. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their inner selves and overcome personal challenges. I believe we are all capable of doing hard things, and growth happens at the edge of our comfort zone. Life is not easy, but my goal is to guide my clients to find calm in the chaos, find clarity in the confusion, and compassion in the struggle. It is my mission to help my clients tackle life's obstacles with confidence and courage. Sometimes it is hard to know what to do or who to be, and my hope is that I can guide you to find those answers within you.
As a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) with over 10 years of relevant experience, I specialize in helping clients navigate difficult life transitions and connect with their truest selves. I especially enjoy working with young adults, as I personally understand the modern challenges that they face and the pressures put upon them. I have had extensive experience working with Substance Use Disorders (SUD), Trauma (PTSD/CPTSD) and related psychopathologies. I utilize Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS) to aid clients in healing. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative therapy.
My approach is warm, collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed. My background in yoga, reiki, and recreational therapy enriches my approach to psychotherapy, providing a holistic and integrative perspective. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment for my clients to explore all the parts of themselves. I believe in challenging my clients in a loving and supportive way, seeing them for their true potential, and guiding them towards rediscovering their authentic self. I work with clients to identify their intentions and goals to develop a personalized treatment plan that incorporates a variety of techniques, including mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Together, we’ll embark on a journey of self-exploration and growth, reconnecting you with your true nature.
I specialize in working with adults, particularly those struggling with existential anxiety, identity issues, and challenging transitions.
